thanks, I found there is a KDE3 repository at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE3/openSUSE_11.2/ (however the checksums are broken) and a packman version (amarok 1.4 with proper MP3 and MySQL support) on http://packman.mirrors.skynet.be/pub/packman/suse/kde3/11.2/
Even for opensuse 11.3 there’s a KDE3 repository now.

would updating the kernel to the latest 2.29 i think work cos my 11.1 disk dont like my aao…
